Role Overview
The Senior Solutions Manager role will focus on the development of fulfillment solutions for potential customers, and continuous improvements (C.I) of current clients. The Senior Solutions Manager will concentrate on price/ costing modeling, physical operational layouts, client proposals and implementations. This role works with current customers to focus on operational field studies, projects, data analysis, and best practices. The Senior Solutions Manager will work directly with operations to identify areas of opportunity and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in developing customer-centric solutions in RFP responses and continuous improvement initiatives; understand customers’ longer-term requirements and help translate those requirements into business opportunities.
- Perform detailed analysis regarding budgets and staffing requirements for new and existing customers or business opportunities.
- Present large, complex, multi-discipline solutions. Support continuous initiatives through development and validation of innovative logistics design solutions.
- Facilitate discussions with senior level customer contacts and, internally, with Sales and Senior Management in order to deliver and meet customer expectations and commitments.
- Develop in-house tools to support key business decision making processes including budgets and pricing tools.
- Advance a strong and informed solution point of view, supported by customer insights, design principles, and industry/market trends.
- Research and present findings and recommendations on the direction of the project with the Engineering Team and Business Development
- Develops and maintains project plans for complex engineering projects
- Monitors changes to the critical path, milestones, and any issues; ensuring the change control process is followed
- Conducts status meetings with the project team to provide vital project information, review project schedule and discuss any outstanding action items
- Creates, manages and executes process improvements according to project scope
- Act as the liaison between business units, support teams, and customers
- Lead projects internally and externally as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Conduct in person and online presentations on output of analysis to potential and existing clients

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering. Preferably Industrial
- Strong knowledge of Third Party Logistics (3PL)
- Project Management designation is an asset
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a 3PL Distribution environment
- Cost modeling of distribution operations and pricing development
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – Manhattan WMI and OSA preferred, and CAD software – AutoCAD preferred
- Excellent leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and customers; able to quickly gain credibility and trust.
- Highly organized
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel/PowerBI/Visio/PowerPoint) and Smartsheet
- Strong data management and analytic skills
- Ability to use video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, etc)
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm to tasks at hand
- Ability to work with minimal supervision both independently and as a member of a team.
- Able to travel across the GTA

Salary Range: $70,000–$110,000 a year / The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
